Halestorm Goes Into Top 5 With “Into The Wild Life”

Grammy®-Winning Band’s Acclaimed Third Studio Album Makes Explosive #5 Debut On Billboard 200 While Also Topping Soundscan’s “Top Current Rock Albums” And “Top Current Hard Music Albums” Charts Epic Headline Tour Begins Tonight At Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium “Into The Wild Life” Available Now

Atlantic recording group Halestorm has made a stunning top 5 chart debut with their acclaimed new album, “INTO THE WILD LIFE.” The GRAMMY® Award-winning band’s long awaited third studio album arrived at #5 on this week’s Billboard 200, and #3 on SoundScan’s “Top Current Albums” chart while also entering their “Top Current Rock Albums” chart and “Top Current Hard Music Albums” chart at #1 –marking Halestorm’s highest chart placement to date on all charts. The release also marks the band’s highest selling first week, more than doubling the first week sales of their last album, The Strange Case Of… with sales surpassing 55,000.

Recorded last year in Nashville with GRAMMY®-nominated producer Jay Joyce (Cage The Elephant, Eric Church) at the helm, “INTO THE WILD LIFE” has received unprecedented critical acclaim.

“(Frontwoman Lzzy) Hale’s voice is the centerpiece,” stated the Associated Press, “strong and raging at times, and gravelly and full of emotion at others.” “Hale’s commanding presence gives Halestorm a unique status in hard rock’s relentlessly male world,” wrote the Boston Globe, noting, “The band’s big-tent riffs and surprising detours have a clear appeal beyond that subgenre.”

Widely acknowledged as one of modern hard rock’s most explosive live acts, Halestorm will celebrate “INTO THE WILD LIFE” with an epic US headline tour, “Carnival of Madness Presents Halestorm Powered by Monster Energy.” The trek gets underway tonight with a sold-out show at Nashville’s legendary Ryman Auditorium, and then will travel through mid-June (see attached itinerary). The Pretty Reckless and Starset will support Halestorm through June 3rd; Rival Sons and Royal Thunder will open all further dates.
